Luhring Augustine did a good job of converting an old warehouse/storage facility into a blue chip commercial art gallery that stages four shows of contemporary art per year. Which means you can catch museum quality shows in an unlikely spot, away from all the Chelsea pomp, and it actually has friendly staff, instead of a cold gallerina sat behind a desk pretending to be on the phone.

London / Place

One of my favourite things about London is the underground transport system itself. I love the design of the information systems and the stations have so much history — some of them dating right back to the 1800s.

Jersey City / Shop

Thriftique has a wide selection of items to buy, good place for collectors. Prices are higher than if you were to come across the same things at Goodwill, but not as expensive as a straight up collectors shop. It's like someone already did the searching for you and sifted through the uninteresting, repetitive things that always seem to be at every thrift store, no firestone Christmas album vinyl records. They had a lot of bootleg concert VHS tapes when I last went, the sort of things you wouldn't know where to find elsewhere.

Bangkok / Park

A public park in an old city area, Romaneenart Park is supported by Her Royal Highness. I like to come to this park after a long walk around the old town. The park was built on an old prison grounds. So, there is a prison museum inside. It’s very scary to know how cruel prisoners in the past were tortured.

Stockholm / Restaurant

A great street where you can easily enjoy the friendly aspect of being in a city and feeling like in a village.
