Tokyo / Shop

Probably I think I spend money most in the life there. It is small store, but it is a sophisticated one. Especially there are good books of art and design. I go there four or five times a week. I wish they make the reward card!

Dubai / Place

Jumeirah Mosque is the largest mosque in Dubai, (accomidating upto 1200 worshippers), and is one of the only mosques open to non-muslims.

Manchester / Restaurant

Simply - the best Pizza in Manchester! Independent Neapolitan Pizzeria in the heart of Ancoats. Can get busy so be prepared to wait a little - but it's worth it!

Vienna / Museum

The Kunsthistorisches Museum is Austria’s largest art museum. Its picture gallery houses the collections of the Habsburgs. There’s everything from Brueghel to Velásquez and Vermeer to Caravaggio. I especially recommend getting lost in the Egyptian and Near Eastern collection though.

Paris / Restaurant

Very nice place where you can take your time for a coffee or eat french cooking by a Japanese chef. The design is like you're at home and there are different artist displayed on the walls.

Barcelona / Cafe

Espai Joliu is a plant concept store, coffee shop and art gallery. Don't miss out their delicious ecological homemade cakes while browsing one of their magazines or buying a plant.

Stafford / Lake

In 1936 George Orwell described Rudyard Lake in one of his diary entries as ‘very depressing’. Today though, I can confirm that it really is a lovely place, with a fascinating display of lakeside cabins and boathouses—more reminiscent of something you’d see in New England than the Midlands. The most popular thing visitors do is set themselves the goal of walking full circle around the lake, which is about 4-5 miles and takes around 2 hours.

London / Park

Need some clean air or just a time-out? Kew Gardens is a short train ride away from the city centre but is provides you with space, greenery and and a small holiday for the lungs. The garden contain tropical glasshouses and interesting architecture, so it is a treat for both body and mind.

Brisbane / Restaurant

Enoteca boasts the best gnocchi around. It’s seriously heaven, ie, it will literally melt in your mouth like some kind of delicious science experiment.

Berlin / Artist

Marc Philip van Kempen (1979) is a Dutch artist living in Amsterdam and Berlin. Much of his practice consists out of life-sized threedimensional reconstructions of media images that result in a kind of ‘spatial collage’. His work brings elements of photography, sculpture and new media together in unconventional ways, challenging the viewers perspective.

Jordan Bruner is an artist and filmmaker whose work encompasses painting, print-making, ceramics and animated films. Her work has been exhibited at CADAF Miami and she’s created multiple installations with MTA Arts and Design program in NYC. Her animated films have been shown at festivals worldwide including Pictoplasma and the LA Film Festival, and her illustration work has been honored by the Society of Illustrators and American Illustration. Jordan also works as an art + animation director for clients such as the NYTimes, Google, Eve Ensler, the Atlantic and Warby Parker. In 2013 she was the recipient of the Art Director’s Club Young Guns Award. Jordan lives in Richmond, VA with her husband Zack, cat Pablo, and whippets Zucchini and Cezar.

He studied photography and fine arts at the Royal Academy of Arts in Den Haag (NL) and graduated in photography and fine arts at the Zurich School of the Arts (ZHdK). I've worked for brands such as Toyota, PlayStation, Magnum, Pampers, Qatar Airways, and Deutsche Telekom among others. In my photography I explore the everyday life, gender, environmental issues, and sexuality.
