Probably first Tibetan cafe and shop in the city, we sheltered here from extremely dry and hot weather the other day. The curated interior collection is charming. The design carries inherent colors and patterns from Tibet with a modern twist. We enjoyed the special blend from their signature menu and a lovely conversation with Tibetan barista. Welcome to Shanghai!

It's actually in Kuala Lumpur, well, but worth the 50min flight. Authentic and nostalgic, it's been left untouched since the 50s, now with 3de generation family working the floors. No menues, so shoot from the hip... the food is amazing, with minute fresh ingredients and still cooked using firewood. This is one of the best food spots in south east.

If you would like to go swimming when you are in the city, this is the place to be! It is a 20 minute drive from the center of the town. Set in the natural area of Deinze it features outdoor swimming and a little cafe where you can grab a drink and a bite. It is an old-fashioned place where grandmothers play cards and has flemish feel to it. The surroundings are great for walking, so get out and explore!

My favorite cafe in Taipei. For friends gathering, gossiping, discussing, it is more about just having a lunch. The meals are wonderful. I cannot remember how many times I sat here.

Though you might say the city is full of colors, from Velazquez's tones of greys to Miro's vivid strokes and shapes. From Goya's darkness to Picasso's blues, Rastro's potency and variety of people and fabrics, or even shop windows for tourists full of Sevillanas and colorful magnets - the biggest canvas is above all of us. It's hard to beat the intense blue of Madrid's sky. I have no idea if Giotto has been here, but I'm pretty sure he was inspired by Madrid's sky to paint Padua's chapel's ceiling. The smoothest blue of Madrid's sky lies in contrast with the dryness and ocre buildings and landscape gives me torticollis. The colors may vary from mediterranean sea, Yves Klein Blue and Pantone 293C. It doesn't matter how it's defined - it is, for me, a boost of cheerfulness in any place and mindset I find myself in. I won't be able to touch or reach the blueness of this sky, but it touches me. Deeply. And I happily allow it.

Although i don't like the crowded beach in the summer, i enjoy it very much when the night comes or also during the grey days of the fall/winter. It can be any beach, and it's amazing to be there with friends to drink some beers, have a picnic and it becomes much cooler when i have this gem only 10 min walking from my home.

I hang around on the rooftop to relax. Los Angeles traffic is crazy so this is a good place to calm down and try to find my zen. The view is great and I love the rooftop Neon signs you can see from here.
