These two small mountain villages make for the perfect city escape in either summer or winter. I like to wander around the narrow, cobbled streets, cosy up in one of the many restaurants and cafés and look at the local craftsmen work in their shops. Not far away there's a mountain topped with a monastery—a great place to enjoy of a good dose of fresh air and serenity. Amazing views of the area don't hurt either.

In the building of the former public bath of Nuremberg a small group of people organises music concerts in the summertime. In the courtyard you can watch bands from all around the world and have a nice evening. It’s a lovable subcultural location and it’s worth a visit.

The City Hall ( Rådhuset ) is my favorite building in Oslo, it was designed by Arnstein Arneberg and Magnus Poulsson and completed in 1950. I love the main hall with its 21 meter high ceilings, and wall paintings by Norwegian artists Henrik Sørensen og Alf Rolfsen.
