One of my favorite things to do on weekends is to head to Grand Central Market for brunch, grab a few glasses of wine at the Oyster bar and then roam around downtown collecting pigeons. Over the past few years the market has been modernized and has become a really trendy spot, but it still retains aspects of what it was like decades ago. Some of my favorite stands are The Oyster Gourmet, Sarita's Pupuseria and the Belcampo Meat Co.

One of Providence's weirdest and best kept secrets. A holdover from the years from Providence was considered "the Jewelry capitol" of the US, Wolf E. Myrow is a vintage jewelry warehouse selling closeout jewelry supplies and wholesale jewelry findings. They've been around for fifty years and most of their stock is even older—you could wander around for hours and still only see a tiny portion of their collection of beads, tiny figurines, Swarovski crystals, and chandelier findings.

Aside from the fact of the underground being the oldest running railway system in the world, I find the underground just an incredibly strange place. Sometimes it’s like I’ve entered an organised maze and just walk without even thinking. The photo is taken of the floor from one of the trains, it’s normally what you tend you look at when you’re on the train.
