Tokyo / Shop

Where do you think about this inkfish' home? He live in skyscraper building. That name is "Sunshine City". There are aquarium, observation deck, amusement park, theater, hotel, tailor's shop, restaurant, mansions…etc. It is like a small city! Sunshine City in Ikebukuro. My mother was born there and I grew up there, too. Ikebukuro is a chaotic city. It's got everything from leading-edge department store to bar in the poor quarter of the town. I love this city that have many face.

Barcelona / Beauty Salon

Once a month I go to Jose's Hairdresser salon to cut my hair. Is an small place, simple and nice placed very near from my home, Jose cuts my hair exactly as I like it to do and the treatment is excellent: he is kind, but he doesn't speak too much, something rare in the field of hairdressers. With no doubt is one of my indispensable places of Barcelona.

Porto / Restaurant

At night, Porto becomes a magical city, where the play of lights on the ups and downs of the city leave no one indifferent. The best views can be enjoyed from Cais de Gaia, which is full of bars and restaurants and Porto Wine Cellars that provide a panoramic view.

London / Shop

If they only could mend me like they mend my shoes. A three generation family business with its origin on Cyprus via Fifth Avenue, New York. They can do magic. I have been going there since I moved to London 12 years ago. One day soon I am going to have them make me a brand new pair of brogues. I will design the holes.

Berlin / Cafe

Just until recently this place used to be one big old Aphoteke (Pharmacy). They have kept the Apotheke's dark wood Art Deco charm to use in benefit of great coffee and fantastic brunch (try the french toast and you'll see I'm not lying).

It’s photographer Jay Maisel’s studio building on the Bowery. The fact that he hasn’t sold out to the manic gentrification of everything in New York is even cooler. Makes me happy that the whole place is covered in piss stains and graffiti when everything around it is all polished and shiny and expensive. It’s like a giant middle finger raised to those disgusting, bloodthirsty, city-raping real-estate developers. Awesome.

Berlin / Gallery

A small but never-the-less great museum for photography-lovers. It’s there that I fell in love with dear Helmut. Mr. Newton was this man who loved women bodies, dramatic stagings, and his wife. An original who was down-to-earth and respectful despite living a glamorous life. After every visit I feel inspired, more confident and proud to be a woman and own my body. You will find at the Helmut Newton Fondation a collection of his photography work, personal belongings, and condolence letters wrote to his wife after he passed away. In addition of that, a space dedicated to June Newton’s work, a little cinema room as well as two temporary exhibitions for contemporary artists ( check website for more infos ). Helmut Newton will remain one of my human and artistic crush, I can only recommend to pay yourself a visit there to learn about his work, his life, his love. p.s.: and it’s some hundred meters only from the C/O Gallery.

Wrocław / Place

Community gardens, divided into small private spaces, each owned by someone else. Located in downtown areas of the city are good opportunity for block of flats citizens of the area to grow their own veggies. In the winter – usually deserted or taken over homeless people for shelter.

Graphic Designer. Jaemin Lee graduated from Seoul National University and founded studio fnt in 2006. Craft, Design, Fashion and Graphic Design in Korea, Graphic Symphonia and CREATIVE©ITIES, and worked with clients like National Museum of Contemporary Art, Seoul Museum of Art, National Theater Company of Korea and Seoul Records & CD Fair Organizing Committee on many cultural events and concerts. Since 2011, he has actively worked with Junglim Foundation on projects about architecture, culture, arts and education, forum, exhibitions and research in order to explore meaningful exchanges with the public about subjects like the social role of architecture and urban living. He also teaches graphic design at Seoul National University and University of Seoul. He is an AGI(Alliance Graphique Internationale) member since 2016.
