Springfield / Place

See the newly renovated square, designed by famous landscape architect Lawrence Halprin. The square is good place to start exploring Springfield. It is right on Route 66, and each direction offers all sorts of stores, restaurants, historic landmarks and bars to check out. Wild Bill Hickok shot someone here!

A kind of Religion. It`s a great school to get some ideas for everything. This roof garden with perforation is a new part of the Städelmuseum and already it`s a place where you can spend your summer in the city.

Amsterdam / Club

De School is my favorite spot in Amsterdam. It opened in January of 2016 on Doctor Jan van Breemenstraat. The place, which used to be a technical school, is more than a nightclub: it’s a restaurant, a café, an exhibition venue, a gym, and many more things. It's owned and run by Post CS BV — the same crew that ran Trouw and Club 11. The nightclub has a capacity of 700 people, and it's located in the institution's former bicycle storage area. The program focuses on local DJs, who are allowed to play extended sets, but international guests also regularly stop by. The ambiance there is so enchanting that it's hard for me to leave even when I can't feel my legs anymore. It's super dark, fog all over the place, super loud, flawlessly music and introspective humans dancing like there's no tomorrow. Who could ask for anything more?

Kristine is an independent visualise designer. She has an insatiable passion and a fondness for visual communication, social observation, typography, colours grammar, and concept-driven projects. She believes good design comes from unlimited questioning, challenging convention and creating and collecting innovative methods to solve visual tasks into an unique ways. The process is often based on a strong idea or a fundamental concept which exploited to the maximum with no preconceptions. To emphasis that it is concept-driven design; the form is often learning towards anti-esthetics. It is a paradox that this actually is an esthestic in itself. She is especially interested in concept-based project and investigating the interdisciplinary design methodologies into visual grammar.
