I probably frequent here twice a week, because I am obsessed with Mexican food, and I'm fortunate enough to live in close proximity to this place. Taqueria Tepango is definitely a sapphire in the rough since there are a lot of terrible/over-priced Mexican restaurants in NYC.

I lived in Cluj-Napoca for 5 years as a student. Every time I go back, I have to eat at least once at Roata. Their Romanian dishes take me back to my childhood, reminding me especially of my grandma's cooking. Transylvanian food is a mix of Romanian, Hungarian and German recipes. Always a delight.

You can't say you've seen NYC until you've seen it from a boat. Hop on the ferry from anywhere to anywhere and you'll see what I mean. Minimalist Bar with a pleasantly dark atmosphere in the 5th district. Exceptionally good espresso and equally good cocktails. Drinks are made with love and passion. In addition, smaller, freshly prepared Italian snacks such as tramezzini are also served. Nice music. Family atmosphere.
