My second-favorite outdoor-place in Manhattan. The abandoned 1.6 km rail tracks running above Chelsea down to the Meatpacking district were turned into an above-ground park. Perfectly nice place for sitting in the sun, reading, relaxing, having lunch in some green spot in the city. Nice views at the Hudson River, New Jersey, the Statue of Liberty (little small from there but still visible) and the architecture around Chelsea.

We are addicted to Poussin. Agathe (in the kitchen) and Robin (with the wine) are so talented and super nice. Poussin is a mix between a restaurant and a wine bar. Amazing natural wine, crazy high quality cuisine and tasty products. The very new French cuisine and the atmosphere is so chill and yet alive. We're just in love with Poussin.

New type of museum. It's a private collection from contemporary art pieces such as by Anish Kapoor or Nobuyoshi Araki to Chinese imperial furnitures or ancient Asian sculptures. The collection is wonderful and the light design is perfect. There is no description or title of the artworks - it invites you to purely see/feel the artworks themselves without influencing by the names. Must to go.

From the website, "Harlem's only authentic speakeasy got its start in the early years of Prohibition during the 1920's. It was a lawless era of gangsters and illegal drinking in small underground parlors of private houses uptown. Harlem was the home of Swingstreet located on133rd Street between Lenox and Seventh Avenues. Sitting in the middle of the 133rd Street block is Bill's Place at # 148; in the original site,.swinging and jamming the best jazz to be heard anywhere in New York City. If you want to step back into a bygone era of the small, cozy elbow touching Harlem parlor, with live "in your face" outrageous jazz musicians, you must come to see Bill Saxton, international world class sax man, lead the Harlem All Stars on Friday nights. It is the only experience in town to give you a unique opportunity to be in the same legendary place where the likes of, teenager, Billie Holliday got an opportunity to begin her singing career, and Fats Waller and Willie the Lion Smith were regulars on the piano while enjoying the "bath Tub gin". Bill Saxton, The Harlem Jazz King, keeps the tradition of straight ahead jazz, alive and well, in his joint. Join the legends of Harlem's past in the best of today's jazz by making reservations; and remember, no alcohol is sold. Come out Friday or Saturday night uptown and have a blast.

From Wally's cafe to Wall.E to a green wall. When you arrive in NYC you immediately mention a difference in concentration when it comes to conversations. Iphone's go always before listening to people. There is nothing to do anything about this anymore but it is a little fact. I Like to cycle and walk around in the neighborhood and mention this beautiful wall with the 2 oval light spots arisen on it. This magical light spots are constantly popp'n up on all different walls in NYC. Open your eyes: Let's stare at the wall. Just as long as something starts happening.

If you're an artist interested in texture and detail this place is a goldmine. My favorite thing about Miami might very well be all of the plants that grow here and Fairchild showcases them in the best possible way.
