The National Archaeological Museum of Athens is the largest archaeological museum in Greece and one of the most important museums in the world. It was founded in 1829 and has been housed in its current neoclassical building since 1889. The museum houses a vast collection of ancient Greek art and artifacts that span over 5,000 years of Greek history, from the prehistoric period to the Roman era. The collection includes sculptures, pottery, jewelry, metalwork, and other objects that provide insight into the daily life, religious practices, and artistic achievements of ancient Greece. One of the most impressive exhibits in the museum is the Mycenaean collection, which includes artifacts from the ancient city of Mycenae, including the famous golden mask of Agamemnon. The museum also has a large collection of sculptures from the classical period, including the bronze statue of Zeus or Poseidon, and the Artemision Bronze. The National Archaeological Museum of Athens has undergone several renovations and expansions over the years to accommodate its growing collection and improve the visitor experience. Today, the museum attracts thousands of visitors each year who come to marvel at the ancient treasures that are on display and learn about the rich cultural heritage of Greece.

This nice little New Orleans inspired bistro serves all things creole and cajun. Cool drinks and hot food, accompanied by authentic live Louisiana Jazz, makes this the perfect spot for a dinner out. For something with a bite to it I can recommend the mussels Lafayette.

A Gallery, A Cafe, A Shop, A Fashion brand, A Bar. This is the Boreum Hill version of Maison Kitsunes many places where they blend Music, fashion, Art, and food. Many times something interesting to see and just a beautiful space.

I personally love photo arts and this gallery puts on some amazing exhibitions by the best artists, such as Vivane Sassen and Gregory Crewdson. The Gallerys’ six-storey space is located right by Oxford Street, so if you are doing some shopping in London, you might as well stop by this gallery. The upper floors consist of two new galleries, while the ground floor hosts a nice café/restaurant. Together with the print sales, the bookstore occupies the basement of the building. I can spend hours just looking at the books, how it is designed, bound, as well as the prints for sale. You can buy all kinds of film; medium format to polaroid film at the store. After some hours at this gallery you just want to go home and start making some photography! 

Packed with the most amazing painting and sculpture from the early Renaissance to the 19th Century. One of my favorite details is this effortlessly executed dog in Fragonard's "Progress of Love" panel peering out at us with such sincerity - a resounding acquiescence to the forces of nature.

Founded in 1828 the museum houses around 67,000 specimens many of which are now extinct or endangered. My favorite is the skull of a Bottlenose Whale from 1860.

If you like some nice cool beer, portuguese sweets (the once with yellow custard inside) tasty and affordable sandwiches, good strong coffee and football, at all hours. Max Snack Bar is worth checking out.
