With 24 hr licence to function as club, nights easily turn into days here. De school houses a coffee and a restaurant place, you can literally enter Friday and leave Sunday. :0 Quite in weekdays with great coffee, atmosphere and natural light

Looking for a place to relax and rewind in Sicily? Then, this is the place for you. Diamond Resort is a 5-star hotel situated just between the vibrant beach town Giardini-Naxos and the picturesque tourist resort Taormina. Here, you can go for a swim in any of the 2 outdoor spa swimming pools, practicing your swing at the pitch golf court, go for a workout at the indoor gym, spoil yourself with spa treatments, enjoy some seriously great Aperol Spritz cocktails... yea, you name it. The rooms are air conditioned and clean with fluffy beds. Once you walk in through the gates to this resort, you immediately relax. The only downside is the food at the hotel. It's nothing special at all and extremely expensive. Luckily enough, there are local Sicilian restaurants just around the corner by the beach walk, so you're better of strolling down the street and get yourself some local Italian food instead for a much more reasonable price. It's just a short walk down to the beach walk and the hotel has a private beach spot. However, the beach is better in the town of Giardini-Naxos, so I preferred the swimming pool. The hotel is surrounded by a breathtaking view with the vulcano mountains facing one side and the ocean the other. After spending a few days at this resort, I felt like a new person.

Chicago / Club

This is my favorite music venue in the city. It's on a unassuming strange corner, has the perfect amount of dirty-ness, good beer, and great music. I've spent many nights here watching some of my favorite bands.

Los Angeles / Place

I hang around on the rooftop to relax. Los Angeles traffic is crazy so this is a good place to calm down and try to find my zen. The view is great and I love the rooftop Neon signs you can see from here.

No matter during daytime or in the evening, Enthusiast makes a great, laid-back spot for drinks and light bites. Known as a “Moto Café,” the hidden bar is a place made not just for Vespa lovers, but also anyone who has an appreciation for craft beer, art and cinema. If you’re lucky, you may even stumble upon one of its garage sales and parties during your visit.

Helsinki / Shop

The Art department of Akateeminen kirjakauppa (Academic Bookshop) is an infinite source of inspiration. Since the store is located right in the centre of Helsinki it is easy to just drop in. The Store is designed by famous Finnish architect Alvar Aalto so even if you’re not into books it’s worth visiting.

Chicago / Bookstore

The best new/used bookstore in Chicago––and with every sale, they put money towards buying books for classrooms in the neighborhood schools. Great selection, well organized, helpful staff, and they hold occasional events where they'll stay open late.

Hanover / Art Director

Yevgeniy Anfalov was born in Kiew, Ukraine. He moved in 2003 to Germany, where he studied Visual Communication at Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts and graduated in 2012. In 2015–17 he has been studying Art Direction in Master programm at ÉCAL, Lausanne with the major in type design, supervised by François Rappo and Kai Bernau. His graduation book project on history of electronic music "ROTARY. Geschichte des Studios für elektronische Musik WDR Köln 1951–81" has obtained an award of excellence. Since 2010 he is running his own design practice. Alongside with making identity systems, bespoke typefaces and online projects, Yevgeniy is working primarily in the field of editorial design. The variety span includes photobooks, newspapers, as well as readers, archive monographs and books on design history. Rooted in research and graphic design traditions, he approaches the work with the means of typography, photography, information design and custom content creation. He also offers custom type design and related services.

Adeline de Monseignat (b. 1987) is a sculptor who lives and works between London and Mexico City. Her work focuses on the life within inanimate entities, through the study of mythology, symbolism, anthropomorphism and the uncanny. Recurrent motifs include the sphere, the seed, the wheel and the ladder that act as universal symbols for the cycles of birth, life and death. By contrasting natural materials such as marble, fur , sand and soil with manufactured ones such as glass, steel and digital media, she creates a dialogue between the natural and the man-made. Adeline holds a BA in Language and Culture, UCL (2009), a Foundation Diploma, Slade School of Fine Art (2010) and an MA in Fine Arts, City and Guilds of London Art School (2011). Her work has been shown worldwide in galleries and institutions such as Masa Galeria, Ronchini Gallery, Nahmad Projects, Blain Southern, Leila Heller, Victoria Miro, Cob Gallery, Totah, Kandlhofer, Contemporary Sculpture Fulmer, Saatchi Gallery, Freud Museum, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Royal Society of Sculptors, Museo Federico Silva, Museo de Geologia, Exeter Phoenix, and in art fairs including Zona Maco, London Global Art Fair, Art Brussels, Salon Acme, Art Moscow and Arte Fiera Bologna. Residencies include Casa Wabi, Mexico, Villa Lena, Italy, Fibra, Colombia, Hogchester Arts, UK and the Land Art Road Trip, USA. She is the recipient of the RBS Busrary Award 2013, The Catlin Art 2012 Visitor’s Prize and Arcadia Missa Gallery Prize 2011.

Popel Coumou lives and works in Amsterdam and studied photography at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy. Her work consists out of analog photographs of collaged spaces that hint at human presence. Through her use of lighting she transforms the collages into 3 dimensional spaces that seem both natural and unhinged.
