Strogino is a remote residential neibourhood on the northwest end of Moscow, famous for its greenery, water space and barbecue. My good friends, photographers Anastasia Tsayder and Petr Antonov live here. The picture was taken from their balcony. Their place is known as 'photohostel' as many visiting photographers stay with them when they stop over in Moscow.

Amar Colony Furniture market is the place for vintage furniture pieces and hidden antique gems, all piled up under a blue tarpaulin. This is the kind of place that’s easy to lose your whole day in, in the best kind of way. Bargaining isn’t particularly easy here, unless you buy several pieces from the same seller. You’ll find an assortment of distressed colonial styled pieces thrown in the ringer with stuff that feels inspired by Indian royalty.

Living here in Munich, i could sense how the BMW industry has a massive impact on the region (regarding that third of the people i met are studying or have a job linked to cars or machine-industry). By curiosity for this atypical fact, i forced my visit to the “BMW World”, which combines a museum, a platform for clients and sort of a touristic center hold by the group. As I could imagine it is all extremely overdone and slick, but once you got over that, I really enjoyed my visit. It is such a fascinating world. Before that I haven’t quite realised how much this industry is the future. The technologies, the materials, the quality, everything is such more advanced. The best thing to look at is for me the crazy LED-lighthouses. For the first time i thought that the yellow bulb was definitely old school.

What every coastal town should have! From time to time I get these serious cravings for fast food, yet, I don’t really like when it gets to greasy. That is why I love Go Fish! Go there on a sunny day and just dig in to a pile of freshly deep fried cod and crispy chips, while dangling your feet from the dock.

My studio is situated on top of a Fifties concrete modernist apartment building in the Rivierenbuurt in the south of Amsterdam. The best thing is that my building is just one floor higher then the rest of the houses in the neighborhood so I get a good view of the city and the ever changing Dutch skies. What makes my view really special is the view from the balcony on an inaccessible inner garden. The garden is made on the roof of a parking garage of an office building and nobody can go there since there are no stairs or entrance. Once a year the gardeners come with a tall ladder. They are the only ones that enter the garden ever. The nice thing is that still there is a winding path in the middle of the garden for only your eye to trace it.

Burgio is the classic pizza porteña place, one of many in the city of Buenos Aires. Don't expect any similarities with Napolitan style pizza. At Burgio you usually "eat & go" at the bar, the two-slice + Quilmes beer "PROMO". We call it "Pizza al molde".

Leading Kutarq studio, architect and designer Jordi López Aguiló designs lighting, objects and furniture with a unique and pragmatic perspective. Each project involves a methodical process that emphasizes both material and research. With the constant challenge of revealing the "soul" behind his objects, he offers their users not just an aesthetic piece but rather a design with personality and a life of its own. After spending time abroad collaborating with prestigious architecture and design firms in Paris and Copenhagen, he finished his master in Barcelona and decided to finally settle down in his home town Valencia where he's been leading his own studio since 2012. His work has been exhibited internationally, including at Paris Design Week, Milan Design Week, Frankfurt Light & Building and the Stockholm Furniture Fair.

Istanbul born artist Eylül Aslan has started with photography at an early age as a way to escape the patriarchal system she was born in. Having been introduced to feminism and human rights by her politician and activist mother, she took on photography to express herself  and created a visual world of her own. Her art has taken her to Berlin, Germany where she continued to live and work for 5 years until recently when she finally moved to Vienna, Austria. Her work consists of a play with light and shadow, her fascination on the human body and different forms it takes. Her first two photography books Trauerweide (2014) and Dear Slut (2015) focus on feministic issues, while her latest book Trompe L'Oeil (2017) deals with the subjectivity of beauty, both for men and women."
