London / Bar

I grew up around this area - it really is a gem of a place. The interior is so cool, with sort of organised clutter everywhere. They have a little garden and they serve food. Its not the best in the world, but the whole experience there is great.

Berlin / School

Floating University Berlin is a self organized space and group, where practitioners from a wide range of backgrounds meet to collaborate, co-create and imaginatively work towards futures. It defines itself as “A Natureculture learning site” investigating alternative narratives for urban development. I am totally in love with this place!!!

Berlin / Cafe

A cute Swedish style breakfast/ cafe place owned by really nice friends, they have a cinnamon bun to coo over, its so sweet and yummy :)

Rochester / Bar

Radio Social is a restaurant, bar, music venue, bowling alley and social club located in the historical Stromberg-Carlson warehouse. The restaraunt component is run by my friend Chuck Cerankosky who also designed the graphic identity of the space and many of the interior details were designed by another friend, Seth Eschelman. Seattle / Restaurant

Dick's is a longest running fast food restaurant in Seattle and a staple of the city. There are 5 locations and I've managed to always live in the same neighborhood as one, which is both a good and bad thing. Burgers, fries and milkshakes, cash only.

Berlin / Other

The typical Berlin winter is biting cold and grey. In combination with the hardness of the city and the angry natives, it feels like a hostile area. Why it's worth experiencing it? Because that's the way this city is.
