It was a warm evening in the city and not yet dark. We arrived, giddy and happy, and he ordered two glasses of prosecco. The waiter managed to fit onto our tiny wood table two plates of tartines, a legumes dish, and a tray of fromage. And then we shared dessert. All students of GCA love it here. Taking pictures, barbecue party, shouting, fireworks, stargazing... All the memory were made here. Unfortunately, the door waslocked recently, it is a terrible lost for the student of GCA.

There are also Chinese tea ceremony going on Saturdays, zen meditation, scent-related soirees and other workshops.

Munich / Attraction

The White Rose was a non-violent, intellectual resistance group in Nazi Germany which was led by five students (and one professor) in front of the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. The ‘monument’ isn’t really a monument. The leaflets show up as tiles embedded in the pavement in front of the university, and commemorate the movement brilliantly. Poignant and moving.

London / Cafe

A slice of Scandi in the heart of London. Great for lunch, with all the meatballs, salads and classic Scandi foods you could want, along with a great little deli shop too.

Marrakesh / Restaurant

Eat on the rooftop and watch a beautiful sunset. Great food and ambiance.

Vienna / Shop

Sous bois doubles up as a graphic designer’s office for its owner and is a candy-coloured materialisation of her playful aesthetics and enthusiasm for all things stationary. In summer, the parking place in front of the shop becomes a tropical-themed paradise for bookbinding and typographic workshops.

Cologne / Cafe

Café Duddel is a café and bar near University that looks like if it is hosting generations of students since decades. It feels like a kitchen, living room and saloon at the same time and in the smaller building in the back you can spend a whole day sitting on a cosy sofa smoking, drinking coffee and playing chess. In the evening there are sometimes small concerts or lections too.

New York / Attraction

You can't say you've seen NYC until you've seen it from a boat. Hop on the ferry from anywhere to anywhere and you'll see what I mean. Not only will you see excellent old buildings and factories--the inner workings of the old industrial city--but you'll head out under working bridges and see the skyscrapers in all their towering glory. And once you've done it, do it again, at night.
