Coffee, books and art gallery!

Bookhouse is a place I've been I'm not sure how many times. When I was in college it was a default destination. When I visited a couple years ago for about a week, went there multiple times during that visit. Ponce de Leon has changed a lot and is continuing to change with all the Beltline construction, Murder Kroger and the Ponce Cameli's are both gone from across the street from Bookhouse, but Bookhouse remains, with it's tiny parking lot that it shares with a tattoo parlor and The Drunken Unicorn music venue. My friend Barry has artwork up on the wall there, otherwise the decor is largely Pacific Northwestern and references Twin Peaks, which is where Bookhouse gets its name.

Unusual visit, with the great articulated elephant and the famous machine gallery

Besides the stunning tiles and building, all freshly baked goods are made of well chosen ingredients and taste divine! 

Located less than one mile from my home in downtown, this is the best cafe in the area. It is nestled in a corridor between two buildings on a brick path with beautiful outside seating — quite the hideaway. They have the best prosciutto sandwich and the coffee is delicious.

Soft bed linen, beautiful cutlery, nice couchs, affordable kitchen products… 

You've heard of Disneyland, but you must see the Abraham Lincoln animatronic at the end of Main Street near the entrance. He gives a super life-like impassioned speech about America that is very timely. 

Tankstell is a melting pot of good music, nice talks and discussions, small markets or simply a cosy bar to have a cold beer after work. Its name is swiss german for gasoline station.

This place is wonderful. It's like a magic place where you can find ugly sweaters, neat furniture, old cameras, very used records, and more. It is a little intimidating from the outside though.
