Her I enjoy the quit and concentrated atmosphere. I go to the library if I need some new input or just want to work somewhere else than in my studio. You can also just go there to relax at one of the beautiful spots in the building. Or have some food at the top floor with a beautiful view over Amsterdam.

Every seven days a different food truck from the more than 300 that the association of tasty vans has in its database is in charge of the cuisine. In fact, at just 18m2, the Var has the exact measurements of a food truck, plus two entrances. Compensating for the tiny size indoors is the magnificent terrace under the bridge that separates Poblenou from the rest of the city. If you don't follow Van Van Var online, you never know what you'll find to eat if you stop by for a surprise visit, but you will always get a good draught beer.

A historical place to eat in Montevideo near to Ciudad Vieja. If you go there, you must ask for "Pizza al tacho", a pizza without sauce and really great!

All students of GCA love it here. Taking pictures, barbecue party, shouting, fireworks, stargazing... All the memory were made here. Unfortunately, the door waslocked recently, it is a terrible lost for the student of GCA.

The Brera Gallery was officially established in 1809, even though a first heterogeneous collection with educational purpose existed already from 1776 – and then increased in the following years – alongside the Accademia di Belle Arti, requested by Mary Therese of Austria to offer the students the opportunity to study lofty masterpieces of art close up. Brera become a museum to host the most important works of art from all of the areas conquered by the French armies. So unlike other important museums in Italy such as the Uffizi, Brera did not start out life as the private collection of a prince or nobleman but as the product of a deliberate policy decision. Paintings confiscated from churches and convents throughout Lombardy with the religious orders’ dissolution began to pour into the museum in the early years of the 19th century, soon to be joined by artworks of similar provenance from other areas of the Kingdom of Italy. This explains why the collection comprises chiefly religious works, many of them large altarpieces, and accounts for Brera’s special aura on which later acquisitions have had only a minor impact.

The Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens, also known as the Metropolis, is the main cathedral of the Greek Orthodox Church in Athens, Greece. It is located in the heart of the city, near Syntagma Square and the Greek Parliament. The cathedral was originally built in the 19th century, on the site of an older church that had been destroyed during the Greek War of Independence. It was designed in a neoclassical style by the German architect Friedrich von Gärtner, and features a large central dome and two smaller domes on either side. The interior of the cathedral is richly decorated with Byzantine-style frescoes and mosaics, as well as ornate iconography and intricate wood carvings. It has a capacity of over 5,000 people, making it one of the largest churches in Athens. The Metropolis is an important religious and cultural institution in Greece, and is the seat of the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece. It is also a popular destination for tourists, who come to admire its impressive architecture and beautiful interior decorations. In addition to its religious functions, the cathedral is also used for a variety of cultural events and concerts throughout the year, and is an important venue for the city's cultural life.

The Botanical Garden is a truly unique place in Copenhagen, A place You can visit all year. the outdoor area is perfect for a hideaway from the city center. The Greenhouse it's absolutely stunning (entry fee) 

If you are in need of a moment of solitude, this is the place. On my first visit I was in awe of how time seemed to stand still inside. It has now become a sanctuary from the city when I need the pace of life to slow down.

This is probably my favorite restaurant in Manhattan, it's Spanish Tapas but like you never had it before. You can literally order any dish from the menu, everything is amazing. Tip, it tends to get busy - so head in and sign up for a table, then go around the corner to their bar Jamón only challenge is that you might stay there all night.

I love to discover, explore and destroy photo books with my eyes and subsequently my portable telephone. A place where I love doing this is in the Stedelijk Museum. Yes, gift shops are typically stocked with pure Dutch gouda like any other gift shop but I find with enough dedication there is something to be found. I particularly enjoyed this one. Perhaps it is my Dutch affinity for milk.
