Wiesbaden / Cinema

The Walhalla Studio Theater opened in 1897. It is an entertainment venue that stages a variety of events throughout the year. Live music, theater, cinema, art expositions, dance shows and an interesting array of gigs are held here. It features interesting and entertaining performances every week. Athens / Museum

The Acropolis Museum is an archaeological museum located in Athens, Greece, near the Acropolis hill. It was built to house and display artifacts from the Acropolis of Athens, one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece. The museum opened to the public in 2009 and is considered one of the most important and impressive museums in Greece. It is built over an archaeological site and features exhibits from the Archaic and Classical periods of ancient Greece, including sculptures, pottery, and other artifacts. One of the main attractions of the Acropolis Museum is the Parthenon Gallery, which displays many of the surviving sculptures and friezes from the Parthenon, including several of the famous Elgin Marbles that were taken to Britain in the 19th century. The museum also features exhibits from other important buildings on the Acropolis, such as the Erechtheion and the Temple of Athena Nike. The museum is designed to be a modern and interactive space, with multimedia exhibits and displays that help visitors understand the history and significance of the artifacts on display. It also features a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Acropolis and the city of Athens.

Maceió been as hot as the world allows it to be - even if it doesn't look like in the picture beside - it's not the first choice to be when you are wondering where to go. What makes me love it, is the whole diversity. You can get anything you are/or not looking for. A nice place to get different material to work with.

Reykjavik / Museum

When they have exhibitions here, its really nice to look around. They also have a very cute little cafe there. I went to see the art school have their final work on display of ceramics and graphics and it was so nice.

Tricycle Ice Cream makes bespoke ice cream sandwiches that are delicious, unforgettable, and unique—especially those inspired by co-founder Giovanni Salvador's Filipino heritage like the Ube and Coconut Cookie or the Thai Iced Tea. They also sell homemade ice cream tacos, and push pops, all of which can be eaten in their small patio out back.

New York / Park

I read that the design of Central Park's curving spaces was a Romantic counter to the geometry of Enlightenment-era gardens. I heard this design was influenced by landscape painting, where its foreground, middleground, and background constantly shift as you walk the paths. I find new pockets and features every time I'm there. One of my favorite spots is with the Central Park Dance Skaters, a group that roller skates in circles all day to vintage electro funk. These characters generously lend you the feeling of being in your own 1980's New York film.

The jetties along Rockaway Beach are one of my regular destinations when I can get out there. I grew up in a Coast Guard family and spent a fair amount of time around the ocean and surfing. I still like to get in the water and this is the first Atlantic-exposed beach on Long Island as you start to get out of the city. When it comes to the environment, constructions like these can be contentious things but they also make for a series of interesting surf spots. Its got a lot of New York metro qualities you might expect including the Subway making its stops a couple of blocks back from the water.

A Pittsburgh must. Polish, vegan, great cocktails, natural wines, beautiful backyard in warm weather, late night food, Sunday night specials. The most delicious.

Wanda Martin is a London based photographer and film maker, working in the fashion and music industry. Having graduated with MA Hons. at London College of Fashion in photography, her clients include magazines such as VOGUE, Numero, Dazed, i-D, Wonderland, Glamour, Marie Claire, Instyle China; brands such as Marc Jacobs, Dior, Burberry, Diesel, Charles Jeffrey LOVERBOY, Pretty Green. She is originally from Hungary, she also graduated with BA Hons. at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Fine Art Photography and at Eotvos Lorand University Budapest in Aesthetics, Film History and Theory. These studies deeply inspire her up until today in her personal, conceptual photo projects such as ‘Nights Out’ documentary series published on i-D, and ‘Lovers’ series on DAZED digital. Wanda Martin worked with artists such as Sergei Polunin, ballet dancer, record labels, Atlantic Records and Sony Music and musicians such as Zara Larsson, Tom Walker, Sean Lennon, and bands such as The Horrors, Eagles of Death Metal, Sundara Karma or Fat White Family. Her style can be described as the combination of romantic painterly beauty and rock'n'roll attitude. She became a European CANON Ambassadors early 2019.

Mauro d'Agati began working as a professional photographer in 1996, from the outset covering many Sicilian jazz festivals, art manifestations and theatrical events. He has always been motivated by the exploration of Sicilian, especially Palermitan, social phenomena. He has undertaken work for numerous italian and International publications including Geo, Stern, Suddeutsche Zeitung, Das Magazin, Vision China, El Pais Semanal, Le Monde, GQ, L'Espresso and Internazionale. In 1999 he published his first book Softly walking, consisting of Black and white images illustrating the everyday life of Massimo and Gino, a gay Palermitan couple. In may 2009 he published the book Palermo Unsung, in july 2010 Alamar and Napule Shot published by Steidl Verlag. Follow Sit Lux et Lux Fuit, Steidl 2012, and Marzia's Famliy, steidl 2014.

Kent Rogowski is an artist/photographer living and working in Brooklyn, NY. Kent’s works are often provocative and whimsical manipulations of objects and images that surround us in our daily lives. From teddy bears to jigsaw puzzles and self-help books, he uses and alters mass-produced consumer products as a vehicle for self-expression. By transforming the generic into something personal, Kent questions what these products communicate, and also what role they play in our culture. His first monograph, Bears, was published by powerHouse books in 2007. He has shown his work both nationally and internationally with solo shows in New York at the Jen Bekman Gallery and the Foley Gallery and the In Focus Gallery in Cologne, Germany. In 2000, Kent received his MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design, where he is now a Senior Critic. He has also taught at The Pratt Institute and The School of Visual Arts in New York.

Zara Arshad was born and raised in the UK, but has also lived in Syria and Indonesia. She now resides in China as a graduate of the BA (Hons) Design course, Goldsmiths College. Strongly influenced by Bruce Mau, Troika and Graffiti Research Lab, she continually promotes internationalism and the potential of design to solve social and political issues.
