Where do you think about this inkfish' home? He live in skyscraper building. That name is "Sunshine City". There are aquarium, observation deck, amusement park, theater, hotel, tailor's shop, restaurant, mansions…etc. It is like a small city! Sunshine City in Ikebukuro. My mother was born there and I grew up there, too. Ikebukuro is a chaotic city. It's got everything from leading-edge department store to bar in the poor quarter of the town. I love this city that have many face.

ICI or 33 Coffee is what you will find yourself at this address. Backed by ICI, a cultural organization and a team of architects, it is a multi-functional space offering authentic speciality coffee drinks, pastries as well as event experiences, such as art exhibitions, talks and workshops. Located right in the middle of downtown Beijing, close to my childhood neighborhood, it has become one of my favorite meet-up points in town. I enjoy the cozy and welcoming atmosphere, a breathing space away from the hustle and bustle of the city, the minimal design details and their interesting space making of the exhibition design.

One of the best reasons to live in Denver, is the proximity to the Rocky Mountains. My favorite view is from the balcony of our previous residence located in Denver's Golden Triangle. With an unobstructed view of Mt Evans and the foothills, it doesn't get much better. Not much symbolizes the American West more than mountains, and with Denver located a short drive from world class mountain biking, skiing, and hiking, the views of the mountains are a daily reminder of why you live here.

We love having ramen here - it's a beautiful space, feels a bit like being back in NYC, and the food is incredible. There are two locations, the one in De Pijp is bigger, so easier to get a table, but the other location is very cosy, so get there early if you go to that location.

Rollo’s is a block away from the house my mom grew up in. I don’t know how old it is, but it’s been there longer than I’ve been around. That neighborhood looks almost exactly as I remember it looking 20 years ago. I like that. They make blueberry donuts better than any place I’ve found.

Super easy, healthy and affordable lunch and dinner takeaway. As a tourist in Copenhagen it is a nightmare to find affordable food. The popular downtown areas are flooded with crap food tourist traps and it's hard to navigate through the bullshit. Smag means "taste" in Danish and their ryebread sandwich with salmon, green pea puree and peanuts is a treat.

The Astor always makes going to see a film feel special. The art-deco building itself is beautiful and the program of cults and classics are always well curated. There's no comparison to seeing a film in it's original format - 35mm and the rare 70mm.

Had a quick stop over in Miami en route to Mexico, and I knew the perfect place to go- The Wynwood Walls. Graffiti art has become quite a fixture in our modern day cities and it's been fascinating seeing more graffiti artists showcased in museums and galleries around the world. Coming from LA I see quite an array of artists in the city as Los Angeles is such a creative mecca for artists. Having said that, with all of our painted walls and exhibitions, Wynwood Walls is definitely one of the best spaces I've seen showcasing street art. All the walls are flanked with beautiful murals, painted by some of the world's leading street artists like Shepard Fairey, Tristan Eaton, and Audrey Kawasaki. Besides being a photo-op hot spot, it's also a very relaxing environment with plenty of spaces to sit and relax in while enjoying the artwork.

I moved to Stockholm about one year ago when I started studying Visual Communication at Beckmans College of Design. After living in super friendly Malmö for three years I feared it would be hard to settle in. It wasn't. Starting in a new school is probably the best way of getting to know people. Especially when it is a small and intense one like Beckmans. Profile picture by Hilda Grahnat.
