PeBe is the artistic alias for Pablo Benito. Born in Barcelona in 1987, he studied graphic design at Elisava, school of design and engineering of his city. His personal design vision is very focused on colour, geometrics, typography and illustration. In 2014 he founded his own design studio, and since then he have been working with several national and international companies such as RedBull, LaCaixa, Repsol, ICUB and the Barcelona city council. In 2015 he launched his online shop, a place to share his big passion for illustration. In the last couple of years he realized several exhibitions around different cities in Spain. During two consecutive years, he also participated to the Barcelona Designers Collective as one of the new incoming artists. Some very important media as The Guardian, Die welt, Fact Magazine or El País also echoed his work in the last years.

Oscar Maia is a Communication Designer and Art Director based in the city of Porto, Portugal. He’s been actively working on great projects alongside wonderful and talented people since 2008. Specialised in developing creative strategies applied in print, editorial, branding, and web design projects, he works on a freelance basis with a wide range of clients dedicated to the cultural and commercial fields. His work is recognized as being aesthetically simple and bold, with a steady balance between great attention to detail, typography and composition.

I’m a British citizen currently studying product design at the Akershus Oslo University College. At the age of 4 my parents took me to Lanzarote, which was a pretty funky place to grow up! I moved to Oslo 11 years ago, where I worked as Harbourmaster at the Royal Norwegian Yachtclub until starting studying. I haven’t really found any nieche yet, but I enjoy trying to incorporate feelings into my work and trying to design an experience instead of just a product. I’m very inspired by my surroundings. I suppose I’m on some kind of creative journey at the moment, but I don’t really have a clue what I’m doing or where I’m going to end up. I use humour as a defense mechanism, worry too much and cry when I watch soppy movies.

My name is Torbjörn Kihlberg and I work as a Designer at The Studio. We combine marketing and design to help brands define their positions, create a unique voice and build sustainable values. I have been studying graphic design and digital strategy, as well as communication and leadership during my learning journey. What I love most about my job is the possibility to develop people, their communication, as well as building strong and interesting brands. I'm very driven by developing my own skills and learning new things and I get very inspired by my incredible colleagues, our interesting clients and entrepreneurship. Takahiro Kimura is a Japanese animator, illustrator and character designer based in Tokyo. Takahiro studied technology of painting and graphic design at Salesian Polytechnic, as well as drawing, landscape painting and fashion drawing at Setsu Mode Seminar. In 2003 Takahiro created a group of web and television collage animation characters collectively called Kimsnake.

Photographer Mia Haggi is a seasoned global nomad, moving through countries with the ease of someone who, as a former model, changes outfits. Alnis Stakle is a photography-based artist from Daugavpils, Latvia. He holds PhD in art education from Daugavpils University. Besides being artist, he teaches photojournalism and creative photography at Daugavpils University and Riga Stradins University. Since 2011 year he works on a project “Not Even Something” that is a research on the interstices in the city environment. Even though these interstices cover small territories, they are always intended for traversing rather than staying. No one wishes to linger there, because they are an intermediate between home and work, between one living space and another. These spaces are located between the meaningful and the meaningful, and themselves remain in the field of the insignificant and inessential. These are the places where we feel no desire to be in just like that, because with their aura of insignificance they not only make us feel as outsiders, but even “push” us away.

Art and portrait photographer based in Johannesburg, South Africa Brett Rubin is a South Africa based photographer & visual artist inspired by the relationship between the structural and the natural, and  particularly how this affects people in both urban and pastoral environments. This forms the focal point of a series titled Auto-Portraits  (2011-ongoing), which aims to capture fleeting glimpses into democratic South Africa taken while travelling at high speeds and utilizing the resulting abstraction that occurs as a rhythmic dissonance to forge an exploration into the country’s contemporary landscape.
