There are so many places to go in Manchester for a night out but I think for an eccentric and fun evening then it has to be The Smith's Disco held at the Star and Garter, the first Friday of every month. Such a diverse crowd, you are bound to have a great night, if you are a Smith's fan of course. If not, then try out Deaf Institute, especially if Revolver is on or Beach Cult are djing!

Orly Anan is a visual artist and set designer interested in the intersection between ritual and contemporary art.
