In the mountains of Cucunubá, Colombia. There, every family carries generations of textile knowledge with them. This museum is a beautiful experience with the textile tradition of the region, where you can see the hole process of textile making. If you find the museum closed, you can always ask people from the town for William Contreras.

Old school but passionate, the Rex hotel is located on Sukhumvit road, a common tourist destination. I can feel my sweet childhood memories here. Its decoration is rich with old-fashioned style; furniture, wallpaper, key, swimming pool, garden, and so on. The hotel reminds me of those movies from 20 years ago when our parents had puppy love. If you are bored with modern hotels, I would recommend Rex Hotel for your next stay in Bangkok.

The central ‘Mitte’ area of Berlin is packed tight with galleries and museums, which means you can cram a lot into a short amount of time, if that’s what you want. The best of the lot is the Me Collectors Room, which shows off large chunks of the Thomas Olbricht collection alongside other contemporary private artworks. The permanent ‘Wunderkammer’ display offers over 200 pieces from the Renaissance and the Baroque periods, with a solid focus on the strange and macabre. There’s even a Mark Ryden original that fits in nicely.

I wish NYC produced more public projects like this. Chelsea is always worth a visit to check out the galleries. The highline is just another reason to make over to 10th ave. It is near our studio and a walk on the Highline always seems to clear any fog that might be gathering in your head. There are sections between buildings filled with trees. At night you can almost forget you are in the city. As an architect you can always find a detail or something that you would have done differently or that you think could have been better. The Highline is one of the few projects where everything just works perfectly how it is.

Simply the best way to get around Miami. You see more, you smell more, and if you're lucky enough to have a boyfriend that drives scooters like I do, you can ride on the back and take some really great video footage.

One of the best shoe shops in the world. (well... at least for me haha) You could customise your own leather shoes by authentic leather and different material soles by 6 steps they design, and there's not only leather shoes but also leather sneakers! For Chenjingkai is a curator, graphic designer and artist himself, the shoe office also collect lots of art books and graphic design books for visitors, you could read some of these books while visiting the shop. Don't miss out on this shop when you visit Taipei city!

You'll find fresh flowers on every table, one of the many touches that make this place special. It has become my favourite place to dine in Portland, and quite possibly the world. Recommendations: the daily quiche, a glass of rosé, and a currant + rosemary scone.
