The best Old-fashioned cocktails ever! Hands down. These mixologists know what they're doing. This place is also famous for their french-dipped sandwiches. And oh yes, not to forget about the pickled eggs.

Ljubljana / Area

This is one of those absurd empty places which can still be found in the very center of the town. It is a perfect location for pictures, talks, walks or a random hideout.

New York / Restaurant

This is probably my favorite restaurant in Manhattan, it's Spanish Tapas but like you never had it before. You can literally order any dish from the menu, everything is amazing. Tip, it tends to get busy - so head in and sign up for a table, then go around the corner to their bar Jamón only challenge is that you might stay there all night.

Rio de Janeiro / Architecture

Niterói is located just in front of Rio de Janeiro, on the other side of Guanabara bay. The city hosts most of Niemeyer's architectural masterpieces. Among them, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Niterói, which curves are typical of the architect's work. Apart from visiting the contemporary art exhibitions and admiring the architecture of the place, you can also enjoy a breathtaking view over Rio de Janeiro.

Cologne / Shop

Schaden.com is a book store and publishing house, specialised on photography books and special releases. It is a place where you can spend ages browsing through books and discovering publications you haven't even heard of. Besides the bookstore Schaden is organizing events on photography like talks, lectures, book signings and exhibitions. In the neighbourhood of the book store called Ehrenfeld you find many other emerging little shops, cafés and food places.

Montclair / Restaurant

An American restaurant with seasonal, local sourced food, a romantic ambience, and a nicely curated wall of sculptures and drawings by local artist Tom Nussbaum.

Barcelona / Beauty Salon

This is a hairdressing saloon in a penthouse, this means: terrace, music and cocktails such as the Blondy Mary.

Oslo / Area

Grünerløkka is a part of Oslo where you find lots of small cafes, restaurants and bars. This area is also a popular place for shopping. You find a lot of vintage and second hand shops here. Grünerløkka has a few parks which are perfect for barbequing with your friends during the summer.

I’ll say it again, I love living in a city where I can easily go to the beach for the day and be home by dark. Venice speaks for itself, I guess. I’m originally from the east coast and the sunset over the ocean still hasn’t gotten old.

Lotta Nieminen is a multidisciplinary designer and illustrator from Helsinki, Finland. She has studied graphic design and illustration at the University of Art and Design Helsinki and the Rhode Island School of Design, and has worked as a freelancer in both fields since 2006. After working for fashion magazine Trendi in Finland andPentagram Design in New York, Lotta is now based in NYC, working for design studio RoAndCo. In 2010, Lotta received the Art Directors ClubYoung Guns 8 award and was selected by Print magazine for its annual New Visual Artists review, highlighting 20 international rising designers under the age of 30. Her work has also won honorable mentions at Vuoden Huiput (Best of Finnish advertising and graphic design) as well as in various logo competitions.
