Café Duddel is a café and bar near University that looks like if it is hosting generations of students since decades. It feels like a kitchen, living room and saloon at the same time and in the smaller building in the back you can spend a whole day sitting on a cosy sofa smoking, drinking coffee and playing chess. In the evening there are sometimes small concerts or lections too.

This is my sanctuary. I spend 75% of my time here. to the left is my file cabinet and printer, to the right is my bookshelf. I have an alarm clock, a Knoll Pollock executive chair, notebooks, pens, pencils, everything I need. It's my favorite place in town.

When I first got here my peers at work made me a list of places in our neighborhood. This restaurant was one of them and it's now one of my favorite local spots. This Italian restaurant has never disappointed me so far.

100% plant based and 100% delicious. Influenced by street food all over the world the menu contains Fried Avocado taco, Korean BBQ wings and BÁNH MÌ's. The service is great and location even better. Go down to Brick Lane after the meal and continue the evening there.

Especially lovely in the autumn, Frederiksberg Have is a really grand park in the middle of the district— Freckled with ponds, streams, and an old palace atop a hill in its centre.

A contemporary art exhibition space located right next to Østerport station, they have a nice little visual arts bookshop as well.

The Monument to the Unknown Soldier is a prominent landmark located in front of the Hellenic Parliament building in Athens, Greece. It is a war memorial dedicated to the memory of Greek soldiers who lost their lives fighting for their country during various conflicts throughout history. The monument consists of a large stone structure with a central pedestal that supports a statue of a dying soldier. The soldier is depicted wearing a helmet and carrying a shield and a sword, and is lying on his back with his arms spread out, as if embracing his country. The statue is made of Pentelic marble and stands over 3 meters tall. The monument is guarded around the clock by two Evzones, the elite soldiers of the Greek Presidential Guard, who are dressed in their traditional uniform of white kilt, red cap, and black shoes with pompons. Every year on March 25th, Greece's Independence Day, a grand military parade takes place in front of the monument, and wreaths are laid in honor of the Unknown Soldier. The Monument to the Unknown Soldier is not only a symbol of remembrance for fallen Greek soldiers but also a testament to the country's patriotism and unwavering commitment to defend its sovereignty and independence.

Fresh is best. The best place in Melbourne for fresh cheese. The Buffalo Mozzarella and the creamy Ricotta are to die for. I used to have to wait years and fly half way across the globe to my home in Italy just to bite into one of these creamy morsels of goodness. Now my life can be defined by the ‘pre La Latteria period’ and the ‘post La Latteria period’.

Our last contemporary museum in town; the building is an old car factory; a must see.

Broadway during the day is usually a bit busy with foot traffic. I prefer enjoying it's wide sidewalks at night when it's a lot quieter.
