A veteran San Francisco arts institution that recently moved from its home in the Mission to the bottom of the San Francisco Chronicle Building. Their gallery regularly puts on exhibitions that are relevant, accessible, and often straight up delightful. As opposed to some of the more buttoned-up galleries, Intersection’s penchant for participatory pieces is met with a regular crowd that tends to be game for participating, which always makes for a good time.

Where do you think about this inkfish' home? He live in skyscraper building. That name is "Sunshine City". There are aquarium, observation deck, amusement park, theater, hotel, tailor's shop, restaurant, mansions…etc. It is like a small city! Sunshine City in Ikebukuro. My mother was born there and I grew up there, too. Ikebukuro is a chaotic city. It's got everything from leading-edge department store to bar in the poor quarter of the town. I love this city that have many face.

A new ramen joint with exceptional homemade broth and thin Hong-Kong style noodles and a small but exciting set of Japanese cocktails. Dessert is one of the main stars, made by former Big King pastry chef Millie, who specializes in eclectic ice cream flavors. Come during the day and you can sometimes buy a single scope from the front window!

This is THE bar in Carrboro. It's exactly what it's name says. It is drenched with the kind of cool that comes from not giving a shit about cool. Shimmy up to the bar an you'll be elbows to elbows with members of up-and-coming bands, aldermen, professors and plumblers.

Born in 1991, Belgian designer Pierre-Emmanuel Vandeputte received his master’s degree in industrial design from the ENSAV La Cambre in 2014. Following his graduation, he opened his studio at the « MAD Lab » (MAD Brussels Fashion & Design Platform) working there as a designer since 2015. Since the beginning of his professional career, Pierre-Emmanuel has been invited to exhibit annually in cities such as Copenhagen, Paris, and Milan. From conception to production, Pierre-Emmanuel imbues his designs with a sense of the surreal and a respect for craftsmanship. Each piece has a unique voice, and emotional power. Together, they speak to our more playful and curious nature, inviting us to live experiences unlimited by everyday expectations. His work is enigmatic, challenging what we consider to be evident in order to change habits and perceptions. His designs are indeed symbolic of an urge to break free from the mundane, to chase originality, while staying within the framework of the most noble materials.

Jerry Stifelman directs his flmmaking collective, CreatoDestructo Imagery and is a freelance writer and creative director for commercial brands that stand for something. He is an authenticity junkie, describing himself as “drawn to pretty much anything that comes a deep and true place, whether it's funny, ugly, beautiful or ferce.” His commercial work frequently takes him to large cities in other countries, but he loves his little home city of Carrboro, which he describes as “the funkier, gritter, hippier ( and hipper), less posh neighboring town to Chapel Hill, home of the University of North Carolina. It's an easy place to live, easy to bike everywhere, near the airport, and has loads of culture and the sense of optimism that comes from lots of students at the phase in life where all roads are open and anything is possible. It's also a place of great style — lots of people expressing themselves without listening to anyone else. It's also an easy ride to the Blue Ridge Mountains and the beaches.”
