Though you might say the city is full of colors, from Velazquez's tones of greys to Miro's vivid strokes and shapes. From Goya's darkness to Picasso's blues, Rastro's potency and variety of people and fabrics, or even shop windows for tourists full of Sevillanas and colorful magnets - the biggest canvas is above all of us. It's hard to beat the intense blue of Madrid's sky. I have no idea if Giotto has been here, but I'm pretty sure he was inspired by Madrid's sky to paint Padua's chapel's ceiling. The smoothest blue of Madrid's sky lies in contrast with the dryness and ocre buildings and landscape gives me torticollis. The colors may vary from mediterranean sea, Yves Klein Blue and Pantone 293C. It doesn't matter how it's defined - it is, for me, a boost of cheerfulness in any place and mindset I find myself in. I won't be able to touch or reach the blueness of this sky, but it touches me. Deeply. And I happily allow it.

The village of Brocton is well known for having a number of timber-frame houses, but this house just stands out to me in particular. It was built in 1911 and is one of the most atmospheric and characterful houses you could possibly come across, in what is otherwise a quintessential English village.

Probably I think I spend money most in the life there. It is small store, but it is a sophisticated one. Especially there are good books of art and design. I go there four or five times a week. I wish they make the reward card!

The Museum of Cycladic Art is a museum in Athens, Greece, dedicated to the art and culture of the Cycladic Islands in the Aegean Sea. It is located in the Kolonaki neighborhood of Athens, and is one of the city's most popular cultural attractions. The museum was founded in 1986 by the Greek art collector Nicholas Goulandris and his wife Dolly, who had amassed a large collection of ancient Cycladic artifacts. Today, the museum's collection includes over 3,000 objects, spanning from the Neolithic period to the early Byzantine era. The museum's exhibits are organized thematically and chronologically, with displays covering the art, religion, and daily life of the Cycladic Islands. The collection includes a large number of marble figurines and vessels, as well as jewelry, weapons, and other artifacts. Notable pieces include the Harp Player figurine and the Spedos type figurines, which are considered some of the finest examples of Cycladic art. In addition to its exhibits, the Museum of Cycladic Art also hosts a variety of cultural events, including lectures, workshops, and temporary exhibitions featuring contemporary art and other topics. There is also a gift shop and a café on site. Overall, the Museum of Cycladic Art is an important institution for the study and appreciation of ancient Cycladic culture and art, and is a must-visit destination for anyone interested in the history and culture of Greece.

Chavela's makes delicious authentic Mexican food and its around the corner from my house, so I come here a lot. They make a mean margarita, and you can't beat their happy hour prices. $2 tacos? Yes, please. The decor is bright and lively, and the bar is made of beautiful Mexican tiles.

Great film curation, cocktails, and restaurant. They keep the foodservice and theater separate which is great because I get distracted easily.

This is a little general but there’s so many great cinemas in London, I can’t choose just one. I probably go to Screen on the Green most often as it’s nearby and shows great films, has really comfortable armchairs and serve drinks to your seat as well as hosting director Q&As and late night screenings. Other favourites include: Curzon Mayfair, Renoir, NFT, Barbican and Prince Charles cinema where I’ve been to a great Movie Maths triple bill; RoboCop + The Raid = Dredd. I can’t get rid of anything so compile all my tickets in a file chronologically, which also serves as a map of where I was living at any one time; depending on which cinemas I frequented the most.

A street party/DJ sound system built out of a shipping container. A little slab of hungover berlin/pregaming Berlin in Brooklyn. Whomever the great DJs in town are you will find them playing a low-key set here for a crowd of less than 50 people. Sunset is magic as there's a straight shot through to Manhattan and the light is perfection.

Ana (*1993), situated between an idealist wanting to change the world by great concepts and a pessimist firmly believing in our imminent death, currently works on the creative advertising industry. Lately, Ana is haunted by anguish which lusts in (an artistic) practice of inertia, fear, and parabolas of listing meandering thoughts and free associations. Finding herself researching on the topics of productivity and emotional labor, she boils down writings for the sake of it, further elevating her scribbles with design mastery. During the day, particularly from 9 to 5, or later, Ana is a productive producer, always eager for the next task mask. Her works have been exhibited in the privacy of her home and thoughts, some museums such as Het Nieuwe Instituut and EKKM and monthly paychecks. Ana has been ⅓ of we need to talk — an experimental editorial approach to talking as a way of curating. Ana still likes to talk on the phone.

Lucas Levitan is an illustrator today, filmmaker last week, photographer last month and art director last year. A new cycle might start again soon. A few years ago, whilst lunch break walking on Redchurch Street in East London, a brick fell from the 4th floor scaffolding of a building site and missed his head by millimeters. It made him think he should be doing more or what he loves, drawing. It was a turning point. That same moment he went back to the office he used to work for and resigned. Now he's lost and happier.
