Little restaurant on the river just south of the Old Town. As in most chinese restaurants in town, food is not the best quality but it's eatable enough if you are hungry enough. I go there mostly in spring and after summer and usually have a beer next to the river afterwards.

Bang in the center of the city, the quite bucolic English garden is also an internationally renown spot for surfers. The maybe four meter large river that crosses it creates just under a bridge, one single and endless wave. What means that all year long, even when it’s snowing, you can see guys in wetsuit queuing to ride it. It’s so surreal.

NYC's skyline has been drastically changing, and Frank Gehry has added a real masterpiece with 'New York by Gehry at 8 Spruce Street'. It is subdued compared to Gehry's other work, but also elegant, subtle, and delicate. When you stand directly under it the skin of the building can best be described as reptilian.

This happened last winter— due to extreme climate changes there was a rare snowfall in the hills of Los Angeles. I can count on one hand how many times I have seen snow, nonetheless driven in it. I was playing "I Love You" by Takehiko Honda while driving through Hollywood Hills and Griffith Park. I will never forget it.

Daijin is an old diner. More than 100 years since this restaurant was founded. As soon as it open at 4pm, retired old people occupy the seats. They leave just after one or two bottles of Ochoshi, they never stay long. The booze served is only beer and hot sake with a good smell of cask that is specially made to order by sake maker Kamozuru from Hiroshima. Seafood is caught in the local sea. Fresh. After 6pm, salaried men take the places of the elderly. After 8.30pm, the owner’s wife start to press customers to go home and people obey her without complaining. 3 mins on foot from Fushimi metro station.

I love to discover, explore and destroy photo books with my eyes and subsequently my portable telephone. A place where I love doing this is in the Stedelijk Museum. Yes, gift shops are typically stocked with pure Dutch gouda like any other gift shop but I find with enough dedication there is something to be found. I particularly enjoyed this one. Perhaps it is my Dutch affinity for milk.

I am a Swedish artist based in London. My work concern interest in restraint related to the body and cultural structures. Ideas of obstruction aim to question how forms and bodies adapt to change, environment and ideals.  I am interested in how a person is shaped by the spaces they have occupied and how a person occupies their own psychological space. With a background in dance, interests in the body and spatiality continue to influence my ideas with focus on balance and repetition. The physical relationship to images are essential in my process of making and the photograph as a performative document explore elements of gesture. There are slippages between image, object and subject. I work mainly with the analogue photographic process and sculpture in relation to the image and performance. I enjoy working physically with materials whether they are photographic prints, sculpture or my own physical body as a medium.
