Neighborhood lunch place / Japanese supermarket. Love it for its authenticity and affordable Japanese food menu. Although its located in SOHO, it’s not hip, not fancy, not designed, not styled, not outstanding. Feels like a honest, family run business that makes the most out of this location for sure. Come here for Ramen, soba, sushi, and more. Try some fries with a choice of chili or wasabi mayonnaise. There’s something about them.

My friend Guillaume opened the swankiest rooftop in London that still feels like a house party. Louie is a French-Creole restaurant, live jazz music venue and oyster bar too.

Just down the street from the impossible to get into Frenchie, you can complete the Gregory Marchand hat trick at the latest outpost from the renowned Frenchie chef. The Anglo-inspired eatery features excellent Reubens, flavorful fish and chips, sweet treats like brownies and pecan pie, housemade ginger beer, pickles & maple smoked bacon, and a great beer list.

The street view from the outdoor seat plus the fresh bakery make it a perfect spot for breakfasters to chill. I still recall the glorious sunshine last time there with my friend...such a good time!

A beautiful island far out in Stockholm archipelago where you can recover from the hectic city life. Fill yourself with new inspiration from the nature and the rich cultural history the island offers. In 1908 Bullerö was bought by the painter Bruno Liljefors and became his private summer retreat and studio. He regularly invited his famous friends for week-long food-and-drink-orgies and hunting treks. Historians say that it was in fact these party trips that popularized the archipelago as the summer destination for Stockholm’s it-crowd; everybody who was anybody wanted to host bacchanalian parties on a private island of their own. If you don't own your own boat, you can catch a ferry and stay in one of the cottage houses that you can rent.

The Areopagus Hill, also known as the Hill of Ares, is a prominent rock outcropping located northwest of the Acropolis in Athens, Greece. In ancient times, the hill was the site of the Areopagus, a council of elders who were responsible for hearing cases of homicide and other serious crimes. The name "Areopagus" means "Hill of Ares," and it was said to be the site where Ares, the god of war, was tried for the murder of Poseidon's son. According to mythology, Ares was acquitted, and the hill became a place of judgment for the people of Athens. Today, the Areopagus Hill is a popular destination for tourists and locals alike, who come to enjoy its stunning views of the city and the surrounding landscape. Visitors can climb the rocky steps to the top of the hill, where they can see the remains of the ancient court and enjoy panoramic views of Athens. The Areopagus Hill is also associated with several important historical and cultural events. For example, according to the Bible, the apostle Paul preached on the hill during his visit to Athens in the 1st century AD. In addition, the hill has been the site of numerous political demonstrations and protests throughout modern Greek history.

It’s easy to get lost in the density and chaos of New York but there are opportunities to step outside of it for a macro view. Chartering a sailboat on the Hudson is a great way to escape and see the city in a different light, especially at night.

I only made my first visit to Troy Bar fairly recently but it's already become a Friday night regular, and I feel like I've wasted a lot of nights not being here. Caribbean food, 4 Red Stripe for a tenner, an incredible house jazz band and as good an atmosphere as you'll find in the city.

This is a great place to eat. Love the burger....especially the fries they are sooo good! 

A slice of Scandi in the heart of London. Great for lunch, with all the meatballs, salads and classic Scandi foods you could want, along with a great little deli shop too.

I grew up around this area - it really is a gem of a place. The interior is so cool, with sort of organised clutter everywhere. They have a little garden and they serve food. Its not the best in the world, but the whole experience there is great.
