I had been living in Brooklyn Heights for some time and Long Island Restaurant has been closed for as long as I could remember. I find myself walking through Powell Butte quite often. I love its old apple orchards, flat meadows and incredible view of Mt. Hood. On a clear day, 5 mountains can be seen from the park. The place is an extinct volcano and Portland's second largest park after Forest Park.

This cozy coffee shop is located in the heart of the Ruzafa district, and is characterized by its nordic style furniture combined with flowers, design magazines and lots of light. Dulce de Leche offers a wide range of argentinian and spanish specialities cooked with the healthiest ingredients. I recommend to go there in advance because it’s always quite crowded, but the visit is really worth it. It’s the best brunch in Valencia with absolutely no doubt.
