This is Salon de Cafe, where my friend brought me for my birthday. There is a sense of quality in this modern, welcoming shop. The service and atmosphere are also very good. The strawberry parfait in this cafe is very delicious. Please check it out once!

This is a great park, from free concerts to summer to the Brooklyn flea markets over the weekend or take the ferry across the river. Rain or shine I never get sick of that view.

Best record store in Berlin. A great selection of Rock, Folk, Indie, Wave, Industrial and especially the huge floor dedicated to House and Techno Records. Staff are typical Berlin-Style - not very friendly but very knowledgeable.

Christiania attracts a lot of tourists because of its free-spirit culture and open sale of drug, but if you venture further into the area you will find some great experimental architecture, mainly developed under the idea of ‘architecture without architects’. Ordinary building restrictions did not seem to be a consideration in Christiania, and in the area you find futuristic spaceships, sustainable buildings, buildings made out of what material was available during the process, or buildings made from architecture students volunteering to try our new ideas. Now the government try to control the development with impending rules and regulations - such as the new law that nothing new can be built except roofing. The inhabitants solution is to make houses entirely out of roofing…  In the area around Christiania you find some beautiful house boats for inspiration, some small and some matching the size of an ordinary house. Here you can see converted ferries, a three storey boathouse and some that looks like shipping containers. I love exploring this whole area, as it feels like I find new, hidden gems every time I visit, at the same time as being a nice relaxing weekend stroll.

This mountain is known as one of the top one hundred famous mountains in Japan. And is one of the highest mountains in the Tokyo area. I went mountaineering at the end of last autumn, and felt cold at the summit. The views changed as winds pushed away thick clouds, and I felt that winter was just around the corner. Scenery is breathtaking. It is recommended as a mountain comparatively easy to climb.

The beach walk along Rue Du Lac between Clarens and Montreux is a real beauty. It's filled with early 20th century Art Noveau architecture, statues, parks and of course, the magnificent backdrop of the Swiss alp mountains. If you go skiing in the alps, a day trip to Montreux is definitely worth the time! But make sure to bring your own picknick, the prices at the restaurants along the beach walk are unreasonable.

Located near to the Alamo square's Painted Ladies is this wonderful gothic "stick" Italian villa with a long weirde history. Built by a Candy Baron in 1889, it's housed variously; a Russian Czarist nightclub, Jazz musicians, Satanists, a Manson family member, and one of the first 60's Hippy communes -Calliope. Creepy as hell enshrouded in fog after dark.

After a day of skiing in Steamboat resort or out in the surrounding backcountry, take the car or a shuttle bus to the natural hot springs just outside Steamboat downtown. It’s a gorgeous and incredibly relaxing outdoor natural spa where you can bath in differently heated pools. Jump in between the hot pools and the cold river for some extra blood circulations. They also provide massage and you can stay over night at the springs. However, I recommend staying in downtown or by the ski resort and go up to this beautiful spot for a couple of hours in the afternoon or evening. I went there during winter and I’m sure it’s as amazing during the rest of the year.

I believe that jewelry should be a characteristic of the wearer; as distinct and individual as the person who wears it.  Always earthy and metal prominent, my form of design is to present a contemporary take on traditional items. Whether the project is to repurpose inherited pieces, design a custom item, or simply add to our collection, the process is very intentional. Since Sustainability and small-scale production is my main focus, our pieces are never mass-produced or ready to ship and I take pride in the intimacy of creating made to order pieces.
