It is the only record shop in Tbilisi. The store unites 3 main directions: record shop, a podcast and the label. I love hanging out here, the atmosphere and vibe of this place is incredible. It is a hang out place for all the DJ's and music lovers.   I appreciate this place also because after 2008 war, the country fell behind, struggling with poverty. Everything built fell apart once again. Despite this, friends and  DJ’s did not abandon their passion and dedication for electronic music, they opened up a Vodkast record shop in 2015. Since then, it has become a favorite place for many people to hang out, listen to great music an buy good vinyls.

Flughafen Tempelhof was once the symbol of nazi-pride when Hitler notoriously comissioned construction of the smallest duty free shop in the world (and a beautiful example of fascist architecture). After the war, Tempelhof became one of the frontiers of the cold war with the U.S. battling the communists (who undoubtedly wanted to get rid of the small duty free shop altogether) via the Berlin Airlift. It turned out to be a huge succes, and enabled the allied forces to remain their presence in Berlin and save the small duty free shop. The real free-market victory will come in about two years though, when project developers will take over and start building houses, blocking my view onto the airfield.

If you make it to the top, you can get an incredible 360 degree view of practically all of Los Angeles. Below you to the South is Hollywood, and beyond that, on a clear day, you can see over a hundred miles of mini malls all the way to Mexico. To the West on your right go the hills until they turn into mountains and meet the Pacific Ocean. Behind you to the North stretches the entire San Fernando Valley, above which stand the gorgeous San Gabriel mountains. To the East the mountains eventually disappear above hundreds of miles of urban sprawl, and beyond that is the dessert.
