Florence / Bar

My favourite café in Florence, where you can not only drink coffee (if you lucky enough, you'll get it in ToiletPaper mug), but also buy some designer objects (including ToiletPaper gems) or flowers and plants, and, in the evening, listen to live piano music, sitting at the loooong wooden table. Everything five minutes from the Santa Maria del Fiore.

Tuzla / Music Venue

A place I used to hang out with my friends. This place is meeting point for many musicians and artists in the last 25 years. It is an open space by the city river called Yala and National Theatre Tuzla.

Athens / Monument

The Ancient Agora of Athens was the central public space in the city of Athens during the Classical period of ancient Greece. It served as a place for citizens to gather for political, commercial, and social activities. The Agora was originally used as a marketplace, but over time it became a place for public gatherings, religious ceremonies, and political debates. It was also home to many important buildings and structures, such as the Stoa of Attalos, the Temple of Hephaestus, and the Bouleuterion (council chamber). The Agora was the birthplace of democracy in Athens, as it was the site of the popular assemblies where citizens could voice their opinions and vote on important issues. It was also where famous philosophers, such as Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle, gave their lectures and debated with one another. Today, the Ancient Agora of Athens is a popular tourist attraction and an important archaeological site. Visitors can see the ruins of the ancient buildings and structures, and learn about the history of ancient Athens and Greek democracy.

Tilburg / Event

This second hand market covers the whole center of the city, starting on Saturday evening and ends on Sunday in the afternoon. Initially I was attracted by the nighttime-atmosphere of the event, but in recent years the 'après' May-market, when heaps of abandoned junk are left in the street afterwards became more of my interest than the market itself.

Rotterdam / Bakery

This place is my top 3 best bakeries in town. Lovely staff, superfresh and excellent sandwiches, bread, croissants, and sweet stuff. And go pet that lovely dog (yes a Dog) called 'Cookie' the canine of the owner! Opening really early, so thats a plus if you are either a morning person, or just want to get rid of your upcoming hangover. Everything taste superb.

Rochester / Cinema

An independent movie theater, where there is always something good playing.

Los Angeles / School

If you want to witness what architecture is about, visit SCI-Arc. This is where I went to school ,and I can tell you there is not one day that you will not be surprise what goes on inside this school. From open to the public lectures every wednesday to galleries and installation, and not to mention the student work.

Neede / Shop

The main (and only) shopping street of Neede has a quirky mix of abandoned spots and lively shops.

Brunswick / Place

This was taken on my 35mm olympus film camera and is of my old room in the house I spent most of my teen years in, which at this time had been passed onto my little sister years after I had moved out. The light through the windows was always so beautiful.

Ariel Di Lisio is a graphic & type designer from Argentina who specializes in branding and typography. His approach is fresh and modern, and his work is focused on aesthetics as well as functionality. From his earlier designs to his most recent projects, every piece created shows his love for the process: thinking about the concept, establishing the general mood and the overall look & feel, the production stage, and the final output. In 2009, in its annual edition, the acclaimed publication I.D. Magazine selected him as one of the 40 leading designers in the world. That same year he was also selected to participate in the Lubalin Now Exhibition Center of Design and Typography at Cooper Union, NYC. He has been a visiting teacher at University ©Cedim, Monterrey MEX in 2010, 2011 and 2017, and also at UDEM, Universidad de Monterrey in 2012 and 2019. Since 2015 he has also been a consultant for the Postgraduate Program in Branding in the renowned FADU-UBA. His devotion to the profession has taken him to different countries around the world, where he has given lectures and directed workshops about design and typography on local universities and congresses.

Her research has led her to explore the traditions of various countries, The work of Orly Anan is born of the mysticism implicated in everyday life, in which spirituality is defined as the consciousness of the energy that unites and interweaves everything. She decontextualizes objects as an act of awareness, exchange, and feedback, giving rise to a highly personal aesthetic. She focuses mainly on scenography and space intervention, using everyday objects as tools of exploration.
