Nothing is more quintessentially New York than a diner. This eatery not only serves excellent, traditional diner fare, but does so in an eclectic environment that mixes Baroque decadence with Midtown grit.

What's better than a late night table like this to share with gals. Not only the dishes are exactly the comfort food like from mom's kitchen, the staffs also speak like your neighbors. So very homy and cozy. Will come back next time in Beijing:-) Highly recommend to those who look for real taste of Beijing house kitchen.

This cozy coffee shop is located in the heart of the Ruzafa district, and is characterized by its nordic style furniture combined with flowers, design magazines and lots of light. Dulce de Leche offers a wide range of argentinian and spanish specialities cooked with the healthiest ingredients. I recommend to go there in advance because it’s always quite crowded, but the visit is really worth it. It’s the best brunch in Valencia with absolutely no doubt.

This is the view from the Manhattan Bridge of the Fulton Ferry Park, a pretty popular destination being between the Manhattan and the Brooklyn Bridges, which still has the old waterfront tobacco warehouses. It’s changed a bit being made more of a “finished” park with a kind of beach etc, and has also been a regular spot for outdoor music shows, one for me being the memorable 7-7-7 Boadrum orchestrated by the Boredoms.

I love how I walk around the city and bump into so many musicians. It's nice to see them rocking in the street and stopping busy New Yorkers from walking.

A very lovely beach club. A lil' on the expensive side.... situated near a great part of the beach, nice loungers, washing facilities as well as excellent service - fresh and deliciously prepared food. They also have a surf/paddleboard centre which has a great instructor and equipment. (ask for Walter) On a week visit I came here twice. To surf when there was surf available and paddleboarding on a calmer sea. Also had lunch and drinks here and had a really great time!
