Attention de ne pas confondre ce resto avec leur autre restaurant, Ichigo Ichie, accessible à la même adresse. Ichigo Ichie est un Izakaya mais ils ne servent pas les ramens. Aussi, si vous souhaitez manger les ramens, vous ne pouvez pas réserver. C'est premier arrivé, premier servi. Favorite italian restaurant, great simple food, friendly staff and the coolest atmosphere (vinil music only). Smart to make a reservation before you go.

As preposterous as this sounds I think there are few ills that can’t be cured by sitting lazily on a stack of rugs in Liberty and allowing the patterns to wash over you in a warm, and slightly itchy, haze. If you don’t believe me try it. The second you step off the main shopping area the sound and lights dim, the rugs beg to be touched, and all your worries seem to disappear.

My favourite place to hang out in this city (and a hidden gem)! The simple café and restaurant in Copenhagen’s rustic Refshaleøen is all about 'hygge'. La Banchina boasts one of the city’s best spots for sunbathing and jumping in the water from early spring to late autumn. And during winter, the wood-fired sauna gets you all set after a cold dip in the harbour.

Jack and Linda have been running their traditional fish smokehouse for nearly 20 years. The fresh fish and crab sandwiches are really good, but what I love is them and their lifestyle. I popped into the smokehouse over Summer and there was a delay in the fish soup, because Jack and Linda wanted to spend more time swimming in the sea. Can't argue with that.

The building seems to be an ode to 'Fondation Beyeler' and the garden is by the great Piet Oudolf. You can walk around the estate even if you don't want to enter the museum. 

There is a rather beautiful faded glory to these mythical creatures, which flank the steps guarding the ruins of the Italian Terraces in front of the former Crystal Palace, which dramatically burnt down in 1936.
