We invited a selection of creative individuals who are in the forefront of their field to curate a screening at FILE. Each screening features a variety of the curator’s favorite films and videos online, resulting in unpredictable and exciting insight into their thoughts and influences.

Our screening for March has been curated by Los Angeles based director duo Focus Creeps (Aaron Brown & Ben Chappell). Focus Creeps has directed music videos for such groups as Arctic Monkeys, Waves, Morning Benders, Neon Indian, Girls…Last year Shoot Magazine placed them in ‘Top New Directors’ and position in the end-of-year top MTV and pitchfork.com video lists among others. read more

Mankovsky was born in Poland but has lived most of his life in Sweden where he studied graphic design at Beckmans College of Advertising before relocating to London where he has been directing promos, commercials and short films and collecting armfuls of awards. read more

We are pleased to announce our second screening curated by Danish director Jeppe Kolstrup. Mr. Kolstrup was born in the Disco Bay, Greenland in 1983 and spend his childhood in a little village in the middle of Jutland, Denmark. Since then Kolstrup has directed various music videos and short films. Currently in the works is a promo for Danish artist Falluha. read more
